Inspiration Monday: Marion Cottilard

This week's inspiration over at Two Birds comes from Marion Cottilard, who wore this beautiful floral dress with a  high neckline, full skirt and high heels.

I loved her head to toe look, so much so I own a red dress cut just like this, unfortunately it's definite party wear that would not fly at work.  So, I picked this black and blue printed tank dress I picked up at Marshall's years ago for $5.  The dress has a thick black band at the waist like Marion's and a similar black and blue pattern.  I paired it with my bright blue shoes with a cris-cross pattern like Marion's.
Dress - Marshall's, Shoes - Bandolino, Earrings/Necklace-  Gift

See how Megan and Nora as well as all the other bloggers interpreted Marion's pretty floral look.  I hope your weeks are off to a good start.  Did you enter my necklace giveaway?

That is such a bargain dress with great colours and how much fun are those shoes! You look great- much more work appropriate than Marion (although I wish I had a ball to go to!)

Your work is SO lucky to have you work there if you rock up looking so gorgeous and glam !! I think its always nice to make an effort, even if you're ducking to the shops and these challenges obviously encourage that. The colours and cut suit you so well.
