Inspiration Monday: Eva Mendes

When I saw Two Bird's pick for Inspiration Monday happened to be Eva Mendes, I had to sigh. It's simpler to sigh than to say, "If only my curves looked like hers, my skin mirrored her beautiful complexion and my husband looked like Ryan Gosling - oops did I just say that out loud?"  Like I said,  it's easier to sigh. Beauties like Eva can make the simplest of outfits look chic.  She even chose a color coordinated furry companion as the perfect accessory. 

I wanted to jazz up this look in hopes that Ryan might get confused and yell, "Hey Girl" in my direction instead of Eva's. Then we'd go Notebook it up on a dock in the rain somewhere. Ahem, I don't own a brown skirt but I do have a brown dress that I threw this watercolor tee over with a white belt like Eva's.  She finished her look with a simple sandal which I mirrored with a simple shoe but in blue.  All that's missing in a furry companion or Ryan.
