A Glimpse of the Weekend

Anyone else need another weekend day or just that hour back?  I could go for both. It was a busy one for me.  I ran 19 miserable miles (stupid tummyache) before my friend's baby shower and then spent the evening with her and several other friends. Today Jamie and I grabbed brunch with my old coworker before spending the afternoon doing a little spring cleaning and cooking.  Spring is definitely in the air and I couldn't be more excited.  It's my favorite time of year here in D.C., as everything is abloom and fresh. The cherry blossoms should be coming out soon, and I cannot wait to share pictures with you.  Until then, here are a few snaps from my weekend.

A brighter, pinker shellac manicure and striped PJ bottoms.
Sauteing vegetables for a vegetable frittata for weekday lunches
Taking a few minutes to finish the Hunger Games.
Spring is springing!
Daffodils are popping up everywhere!
My new Anorak coat for those cool spring mornings.
What were you up to this weekend, anything exciting or springy?  I hope it was great, whatever you did!

Cara, I am definitely liking that new anorek! I just got one in a coral/terracotta colour! The weather is beautiful, I cannot believe how lucky we have been, it was a mild winter with early Spring :)

I actually wish weekends were twice as long ALL THE TIME. UGH. Work and productivity are overrated ;)

I love that Betsey Johnson anorak!
