Wednesday's Wardrobe: Spring has Sprung!

This weather is whack if I'm being completely honest.  I love warm weather as much as the next person but a) it is March and b) today is the first day of spring.  Last week I was a wee bit skeptical that this weather was here to stay so I cobbled together warm weather looks from my cold weather clothes. I have some of my warm weather gear sitting in a space bag in the corner waiting to be moved into the closet but it just hasn't happened yet.  Maybe tomorrow or next week or April.  Until then, let's look at some transitional outfits, shall we?

I picked up this cute skirt in Boston for $10 last month, I love the front pleat detailing.  Coral and turquoise has been one of my favorite color combos for ages so it seemed only natural to pair them together with this khaki skirt.  Sorry I look so sleepy in this picture, allergies were are getting the best of me right now.
Sweater/Skirt - Marshall's, Shirt - Nordstrom, Shoes - Steve Madden, Necklace - Bridesmaid Gift, Bracelet - Banana Republic via my SIL

Remember Fashionable Friend Fridays? Probably not, it's been awhile. Don't worry, I'm reviving it this week but this look wanted to make an appearance earlier in the week.  I'm wearing Corey's belt and headband, two items she's never worn.  I LOVE this purple tank but its a bit flowy so it has to be belted and this seemed the perfect time to put Corey's metallic belt to use.  I really love the headband's subtle sparkle and floral details.
Sweater - Ann Taylor Loft, Tank - Filene's Basement, Skirt - Old Navy, Shoes - Tory Burch, Headband/Belt - Corey's, Earrings/Bracelets - Gifts from my MIL

While shopping with my Mom in Boston last month, we presented almost the same exact scarf for each other's approval. We laughed, admired each other's pick and then purchased our respective scarves for spring. This is my pick.  It's so bright and colorful, and felt perfect for a warm, casual Friday.
Shirt - Michael Kors, Scarf - Cynthia Rowley, Jeans - Ann Taylor Loft, Shoes - Seychelles, Earrings - LouLou's,  Bracelet, Watch - Gifts/Stella & Dot

I have yet to go shopping for warm weather pieces (minus the scarf) but am hopeful I will find some new duds when I get back to Boston this weekend!  Have you picked up anything new for spring?!?

I picked up a new attitude for spring. It's easier to be happy and hopeful when the sun is shining. :)

Love the coral and turquoise!

I really like the pleat detail on the skirt. It looks lovely with the turquoise cardigan and nude pumps! I'm glad the weather is starting to get warmer, no more having to reach for a winter coat/scarf/gloves each day!
