Inspiration Monday: Gwyneth Paltrow (and a Giveaway!)

Rainy, gloomy Mondays are the toughest to get through.  Today was no exception after a long but great weekend of baseball, travel and family time with both my parents and in-laws.  Two Birds inspiration this week is Gwyneth Paltrow, who wore the perfect outfit for a gloomy Monday. Her chic but laid back sweater and skirt are perfect for a cool day while the floral pattern, pendant and chic boots add some California fun to the outfit.

Lucky for me, my mom gave me an adorable floral sundress over the weekend so I layered it with a short-sleeve cardigan for an easy yet bright work outfit.  As much as I love Gwyneth's grey ankle booties, I did not like any of my booties paired with my interpretation for work. I opted for a silver ballet flat to keep the look casual.  I added a long necklace to complete the look.

Wow, I actually have a similar print as your dress, except that it is in fabric, not yet sewn so this gives me ideas! :) I am glad I stumbled on your blog today to find you have a generous giveaway for EShakti. I love that they customize clothing but have never used their services before because I tend to thrift more than buy new. It would be such a treat to win something so I followed you on Bloglovin and if I win, I would like to pick the Butterfly kisses frock. thank you so much! Drop my my blog sometime if you are ever so inclined! :)

I love the name of your blog. "I dabble" is so appropriate, and pretty much how I feel about everything! I need to do less dabbling, more focusing I think!
Anyway, I love the print of your dress, I am pretty much a huge sucker for anything floral! Hope you are having a wonderful day!
