Wednesday's Wardrobe: Warm Hued

I am beyond thrilled by the presence of bright, bold and beautiful color in spring and summer fashion, especially in the shoe department.  My spring and summer shoes have always been brighter and more fun that my drab array of winter brown and black heels.  I've shown you several colorful pairs over the past weeks but these three pairs are representing the warm-hued spectrum.  Something about warm-hued soles makes me happy.  For me pretty soles are good for the soul.

Pair 24: I have had these yellow sandals for several years but I keep them around because they feel fresh every summer. The patent leather t-straps in banana yellow go with just about everything. I paired them with this blue striped dress and bangle for an easy work look representative of my summer work uniform.

Pair 25: These papaya-hued shoes have been calling to me from Anthropologie for months and I've resisted in hopes that they would go on sale. I finally was going to give in and buy them full price when I saw they were sold out online.  When a friendly sales gal at the Anthro by my work found a pair in the store near my apartment, who was I to resist fate?  I paired these tropical wedges with a similarly tropical outfit featuring an easy breezy top and skirt for a date with my husband this weekend.

Pair 26: Pink heels held a spot on my wish list since the dregs of winter.  When these berry-rific heels came up on Gilt Groupe awhile back I knew it was time to move these from the wish list to the shopping cart.  They are surprisingly comfortable for the height. I debuted them with one of my favorite skirts, a tank and a cozy sweater vest.

Please excuse my bum toe,
and off center belt, I was in a hurry this morning.
Do you have any warm-hued shoes or do you tend to keep it neutral and let your clothes carry the color? I would love to know!
