I really wish tomorrow was Sunday and I had another day to relax and recover from my
weekend. I say that every weekend but this one was a doozy! This weekend's theme was trains, buses and subways. I spent 26
hours in NYC for my favorite one year old's birthday and the NYC
Women's 10k in Central Park. I spent another 12 fabulous hours on
various forms of public transit getting there and back. Today we went
to the O's/Phillies game in Baltimore with my niece and brother-in-law
in the 90+ heat. Here are a few snaps from my fun albeit exhausting
weekend!
From top to bottom: Goldfinger; Yarn at Purl Soho for my next project; Grand Central aka my home away from home; Pre-10k; Sunset via Amtrak.
What did you do this weekend? Hopefully something to beat the heat!

Cara this sounds like a wicked FULL weekend! Just traveling alone tires me out, nevermind running a 10k. You are super woman!
In response to your question on my post- my husband makes me laugh wicked hard all the time. I guess when he takes my outfit pictures it's no exception!

happy monday!
So jealous of your trip to NYC! I'm going in July and can't wait; it's been years since I've been there and I miss it so much!
PS.
Thanks for your comment on my blog! I use the cucumber wipes too and LOVE them! One of the only products that doesn't irritate my skin!
So jealous you got to go to NYC! I love it there and would LOVE to get to run a 10K in Central Park!

Aww I wish you had more time to spend in NYC! Sounds like you had a great wknd. To answer your question, I bought the open knit sweater you see in today's post about a year ago from Bloomies. Open knit is all the rage right now so you should be able to find sthg very easily.
Some gorgeous photos - I especially love the vibrancy of the colourful threads in that picture. :)
Fun but busy is GOOD! :) Love that glittery nail polish and the yarn picture!
