Happy 1st Blogday!

Tomorrow my itty-bitty blog turns 1! She's grown so much, so quickly! It is hard to believe this little space has quickly become one of my favorite hobbies, and that's saying a lot cause I have loads of hobbies!  It has been so much fun sharing recipes, projects and outfits with you over the past 12 months, and I am thrilled to share some new ideas with you in the coming year.  I have so enjoyed hanging here with you and getting to know each of you and your blogs.  You readers are such a supportive community full of love, humor and fun. I cannot thank you enough for swinging by over the past months to check out my latest dabbles.  As I said, I have a few new ideas up my sleeve for the coming year that I cannot wait to share with you later this week.  Until then, let there be blogday cake and thanks for reading thus far!  Cheers!

Stuck with You

Friends, I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend enjoying the official end of summer.  We spent another whirlwind weekend travelling to Cape Cod and Boston to visit my family and celebrate my oldest friend's nuptials.  The wedding was beautiful, the bride radiant and the band fantastic!

Such a great wedding (along with our shared first dance song) reminded my husband and I of our own Labor Day wedding two years ago today.  We really enjoyed being back on Cape Cod, our wedding location this weekend to drink from our wedding coozies, visit our venue from the water and once again marvel the 100 person rehearsal dinner clambake we squeezed into my parent's backyard. Here are a few pictures for our wedding weekend from my dear friend Katharine, wedding photographer extraordinaire!  She was a guest at our wedding but still took so many great pictures!

And to my husband, then and now, "you are the best thing." I am truly "so happy to be stuck with you."  If you weren't there to witness it first hand, watch this performance my husband surprised me with at the end of our wedding.  Time to celebrate over pizza and a glass of wine and gifts of cotton.
