Wednesday's Wardrobe: Shades of Grey

With a title like that you're probably thinking about the weather or the Grateful Dead (great song.)  I think of my winter wardrobe.  I rely heavily on grey, brown, navy and black in the cooler months and this past week has been no exception.  So lets get to the clothes, shall we?

I love how military-inspired this dress feels.  The army green color enhanced with the brushed gold metal accents make me feel ready for both work and (fashion) boot camp.  It was cold so I added a thick pair of ribbed sweater tights, and one of my favorite pairs of shoes.

Dress - Marshalls, Tights - Gift, Shoes - Seychelles via Nordstrom, Necklace - J.C. Penney, Watch - Husbands, Bracelets - Filene's Basement

It was so warm yesterday that I couldn't fathom wearing tights.  I have many months of tights ahead of me, might as well wear bare legs as long as I can.  This grey sweater was a great Old Navy find; the stripes are made of metallic gold thread.  I tried to play up the gold with several blingy accessories.

Sweater and Tank - Old Navy, Skirt - Talbots, Necklace - Ann Taylor Loft, Shoes - Steve Madden, Headband - J.Crew, Earrings - Eden of Dennis, MA.

Again, warm weather = hanging onto summer clothes for one more day.  I picked up this shirt at the Nordstrom sale this summer but had little opportunity to wear it.  I paired it with this orange cardigan, some grey slacks, my tallest shoes, and a yellow belt.
Just warming up my sweet dance moves for this weekend's wedding....get ready!
Sweater - Coldwater Creek, Top - Nordstrom, Pants - Ann Taylor Loft, Shoes - Via Spiga via Rue la la, Necklace - Lia Sophia, Bracelets - all Gifts, Earrings - Gift from my MIL
Doh...my hem is messed up, someone's got a date with their sewing machine this weekend :)

We've made it through Wednesday, and Friday is close, hang in there!  I hope to share a craft project with you tomorrow!  With that, I'm going to go start and finish said project :) Happy Thursday!

What adorable outfits! I love the green dress. I rely on a lot of neutrals most of the time. I squealed with delight when the "pop of color" trend happened!
