A glimpse of the weekend

Another jam packed pre-holiday weekend 'round here.  We hunted down, acquired and decorated our Christmas tree, shopped then wrapped, baked and ate. I also brunched with one of my best friends, enjoyed wine and tapas with friends on Saturday night, ran the Jingle All the Way 8k and then attended Blogger Blitz DC on Sunday night.  Add in the fire in our apartment building Saturday night that had us up most of the night Saturday and it was a LONG, yet wonderful weekend.

An $8 make-shift mantle with white birch limbs, miniature ornaments, twinkle lights
How lovely are thy branches
Ready to Jingle all the Way on 3 hours of sleep

Before Blogger Blitz DC, Shirt - Ann Taylor Loft, Skirt - Free People, Earrings - Forever 21, Clutch - Laila Rowe, Tights - Target, Shoes - Steve Madden

At Blogger Blitz DC with Host Alison, Katelyn, Courtney, Kelly, me, Morgan

Did you do anything festive or fun this weekend, I certainly hope so!

Jingle all the Way 8K? Wow that's impressive (and on 3 hrs of sleep to boot!) I love your festive stockings and your white blouse is stunning! Sounds like a hectic weekend- I had one too and am feeling exhaustion creep in slowly but surely!

I love your jingle bell jog outfit. I almost dressed up for the turkey trot, but thought a headdress might slow me down...
