I am clearly not made for pressure situations as figuring out a black + white outfit this morning almost sent me back to bed...or maybe it was just Monday morning rearing its ugly head. When I saw that the next Everybody, Everywear challenge was black and white, I was excited! I have a strong preference for black and white separates and patterned dresses. I own at least 10 black and white work dresses, they are so easy and always chic!
When a few attempts at creative black and white ensembles failed me in my haste to get out the door, I reached for this tried and true patterned shirt dress. I paired it with black tights, suede loafers, and my neon yellow flower pin for a spot of color. Quick and simple for mornings when you have to get out the door fast.

What a great dress! The flower pin is a great addition too. A wrap dress is one of the easiest and most stylish items to throw on in a hurry. You look great :)

Love how you added some pop with the yellow flower! When I'm running out the door, it's usually a dress for me, or skinny jeans, a cute top, and colored flats.

On a manic monday my run out the door is a black top of some sort and pair of jeans since my office is casual 5 days a week. Your dress is beautiful and I am glad you participated in the EBEW challenge :)
The pattern on that dress is great and I love how you added a pop of colour with that fun flower! I know that when Monday mornings roll around I will be cranky and tired so I always pick out my work outfits the night before.
The yellow pin is a great touch.
