Every year around
this time I get the insatiable urge to cut my hair. It has been
AWHILE since my last haircut and I was in desperate need of a chop. My curls have come back to life and I think my wardrobe suddenly feels a little fresher too. A new 'do has apparently caused several new wardrobe DOs for the current season.
Shoe Pair 21: I wore this to brunch last weekend. I was hoping to forgo a sweater but it was wee bit dreary/cool so I added this mustard yellow cardigan. It was the perfect addition to my color party of an outfit.

Shoe Pair 22: I had a marathon of a day complete with work, class at my alma mater, the dentist and friend's birthday dinner last Thursday. I needed a comfortable outfit that would get me from 6am to 12am with no sweat. This was that outfit, layers are perfect for long days in/outdoors.

Shoe Pair 23: On Saturday I attended my friend's dance show and dinner in this shirt dress. This was a clearance rack find at Old Navy, I was drawn to the laid back feel and the in-your-face citrus color. I paired it with a bright scarf and comfortable shoes for walking through Georgetown.

It's funny how one small change to your appearance can cause a mini-makeover. Do you change things up with a new haircut, pedicure, facial, etc? I would love to know what changes your look!

Your hair looks great! I am liking ALL the looks - especially the first one. Anything that mixes mustard + bright blue + floral is a-okay in my book!

I love your fun and bright spring colors! I typically change my wardrobe when I get a dramatic haircut like going from long to short which I tend to do every couple of years
I always feel more refreshed after a haircut. But it's been a while since I had one because I'm trying to grow it out.
I was wearing almost that exact same outfit this week (mustard cardigan with blue skinnies). I love the color combo. I also wear a lot of orange with my blue skinny jeans.
Those orange and pink wedges are awesome! You make me want to paint my toenails.
All of your looks look great but I especially love that top look. The blue and the colors are gorgeous!!
