Sometimes I have crushes on a color, and when that happens I tend to wear out that hue until a new shade catches my fancy. Currently, yellow* has my undivided attention, and I don't see my fascination with it ending anytime soon. Lemon, banana, mustard, neon and sunshine yellow all have happy homes in my wardrobe so I thought I'd share a few of my current crush-worthy pieces.
Pale: This dress is one of my summertime favorites, I love the color, pleated neckline, sash and pockets. Unfortunately, it's linen which means I look like a mess before I get to my desk in the morning.
Bright: I love anything with ruffles, so when I spotted this bright top at Forever 21 last summer I knew it needed to leave with me. For being a bright, frilly piece it's far more versatile than I originally thought.
Electric: Old Navy sales are hard to beat; I picked this neon yellow shirt dress back in the spring for $7.99. It's such an easy piece to dress up or down and transition into cooler weather with fun tights and leggings.

Have you been crushing on any colors lately?
*I really wanted to start this post with "They call me Mellow Yellow" from the old song but then I looked up what the song was about and decided better of it. I think I liked it better when it was about tripping on banana peels.

I totally know what you mean, recently I've been all about orange, which is really weird because I've never really like the color before.

I am obsessed with yellow too. Most specifically mustard, but really any hue of it catches my eye. I love that first dress but I totally agree: linen is a nightmare!

you look great in yellow...most people don't!! (lucky) i love all of it on you, especially the belted blouse. and once again, you have such great shoes!!
Yellow is a color that is ill represented in my closet. I'm never sure how to wear it or what shade so this post is perfect for me! It's clear that you have a real eye for accessories. The colorful necklaces, shoes and bags you choose are perfect!
You look beautiful in yellow and I MUST have that necklace you are wearing in your first look!

I absolutely love yellow, so naturally I absolutely love this post. I was so close to buying that shirt dress from Old Navy and now I'm kicking myself for not! You look great in all of these, and I must say, exceptional choices with all of the shoes :)
