With the official kick-off to the season this weekend, I'm starting to get excited for summer. I predict it will be bittersweet; it's our first free summer in more than 5 years and it's also our last one here in Maryland. We have a few weekend trips to Cape Cod planned and one wedding but have so much free time to play with. Here's a short list of things I would love to do this summer.
1) Go to a drive-in movie in Welfleet, MA.
2) Make lots of ice cream, gelato and popsicles. This one is first on my list!
3) Attend an outdoor concert or music festival.
4) Knit myself this sweater.
5) Infuse vodka with something fun and have the girls over for homemade cocktails by the pool.
6) Finish sewing a skirt.
7) Perfect a delicious panzanella for easy weeknight dinners.
8) Jazz in the Garden.
9) Find a fun place to get away with my hunny for a few days.
10) Make lots of iced coffee and work through my stack of magazines on a blanket in the grass.

That's a fantastic list :) I love the summer and I always stay outside as much as possible. But, I like going places and eating icecreams. Anything like that is always great :) xx
Loving your to-do list for summer! I am posting mine next week :] xo
I add having a traditional Baltimore Snowball too!
I'm gonna make it a goal to go to a drive-in too! AND make paletas properly this time!

sounds like a great summer bucket list
i haven't even thought about summer, with son2 still in school until June 10th and his graduation on the 12th, summer still seems far away somehow.

Wha a great list... I'm going to steal a few of your ideas, starting with relaxing on the grass and reading a stack of magazines with iced coffee in hand! I'm planning to spend more time at the beach, as well as making full use of our rooftop for dinner, drinks and laughs with friends
