Inspiration Monday: Ashlee Simpson

Someday when I own a house, I hope to have enough closet space that all of my clothes can fit in closets.  In our teeny-weeny apartment most of them are stuck in vacuum bags stashed under the bed, behind the suitcases and atop the linen closet.  If my entire wardrobe was accessible then I could have found my vegan leather skirt to rock for Two Birds Inspiration Monday, but that skirt is in a vacuum bag...somewhere.

Ashlee Simpson looks fantastic, I love how casual and edgy her look here is.  The billowy top, bright red shorts, black shoes and clutch are so cool.  I paired a billowy red skirt with some edgy black sandals and this white cotton moto jacket to get the white in there somewhere.

Jacket - Loft, Shirt - Gap, Skirt - Lulu's, Shoes - Daniblack

Check out Two Birds to see how Megan and Nora were inspired as well as all the other bloggers!

I live in an apartment too and I can totally relate to the lack of closet space!

I can't believe I didn't know about these challenges until this week (where I saw more than a few bloggers participating!). This is such a fun idea and I LOVE your interpretation. I've always a bigger fan of skirts than shorts, so I'm definitely partial to your look :)
